After nearly three decades of distinguished service, Tom recently departed IBM to establish CYBER•NEO, LLC. During his tenure at IBM, he held numerous leadership positions across both global and North American markets. He was instrumental in the launch and growth of IBM’s global cybersecurity business, and as a founding member of the North America cybersecurity sales leadership team, he led the development of a technical sales organization comprising more than 200 cybersecurity architects and specialists. This team was responsible for driving sales progression and ensuring customer success.

Tom currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the DeVille School of Business and is an Adjunct Professor at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, where he teaches courses in both cybersecurity and business. He is widely recognized as an engaging and insightful educator who effectively integrates practical industry experience into the academic environment, offering students actionable, real-world perspectives.

He holds an MBA from Kent State University and a BA from Muskingum College. In addition, he recently completed the Data Security and Privacy Policy Certificate Program at Cornell University. His further academic credentials include txhe Business Analytics: From Data to Insights Program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Business and Industry Insight Program at Harvard University.
