After nearly three decades of service at IBM, Tom left IBM and established CYBER•NEO, LLC. During his tenure at IBM, he held numerous software leadership and individual contributor positions across both global and North American markets. As a member of the initial North America security sales leadership team, Tom directed the technical sales (sales engineering) organization, consisting of cybersecurity architects and specialists who provided pre-sales consultancy.

Tom is also an Adjunct Professor at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio, where he teaches courses in both cybersecurity and business. He is recognized as an engaging and insightful educator who effectively integrates practical industry experience into the academic environment, offering students actionable, real-world perspectives.

Tom holds an MBA from Kent State University and a BA from Muskingum College. Additionally, he has earned the following continuing education certificates:

• Data Security and Privacy Policy Certificate Program,  Cornell University
• Business Analytics: From Data to Insights Program, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania
• Business and Industry Insight Program, Harvard University.
